Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges as this is not part of the core NHS contract. Examples include the following:
- Medicals for pre-employment and driving requirements (HGV, PSV, DVLA, LGV, Taxi Medicals)
- Insurance claim forms
- Vaccination certificates
- Private Letters
- Holiday Cancellation Forms
Fostering medicals claim form to be completed and sent back, payment is direct from the service not the patient
Doctors will not see patients for Scuba diving medicals or Parachuting declaration forms.
Any work requiring an appointment with a doctor must be paid for in advance.
The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and can be found here Fees and Charges. Our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.
